First degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Venice, Master of Arts at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, in Byzantine and Post Byzantine Art History. Now he is a PhD candidate at the Ioannena University with a research regarding the textile commerce and clothing in Larnaca (Cyprus) during the XVIII century. He collaborates with the University of Cyprus in a project regarding the edition and study of the material culture evidences present in the Archive of the Venetian Consulate in Larnaca and, with the Computer Science Department of the same University, for the virtual reconstruction of the XIX century Nicosia. He is interested in Material Culture, Intercultural Relations, Decorative Arts and Patterns, Visual Culture, Clothing in the Eastern Mediterranean.
PhD in Medieval History at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She is now collaborating in several projects regarding Medieval and Modern Graffiti in the Mediterranean, with particular focus on new technologies to study and document graffiti. The most relevant projects are the graffiti corpus of San Marco church in Venice and the collection and study of Cyprus nautical graffiti, in collaboration with the University of Cyprus. Her interests are graffiti and history of writing considered mainly for its socio-anthropological aspects.
