Jason Schlude is Assistant Professor of Classics at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Minnesota, Co-Director of the Omrit Settlement Excavations in Israel, and Vice President of the Classical Association of Minnesota. He is a specialist on the Roman Near East, and his work on Roman-Parthian relations has appeared in a wide range of journals, including Latomus, Athenaeum, and Anabasis.
Benjamin Rubin is Assistant Professor of Classics at Williams College and Co-Director of the Omrit Settlement Excavations in Israel. His scholarly work examines cultural interactions between Greece, Rome, and the ancient Near East. He is particularly interested in the legacy of Hellenistic and Persian art in the eastern Roman Empire and the development of the Roman imperial cult.
